White House adviser Jared Kushner has found himself in the middle of a national controversy for an unexpected reason – his childish speaking voice.
Kushner is President Donald Trump’s son-in-law and senior adviser, yet he has almost never been heard speaking in public – until this week. Kushner made his television debut of the Trump administration and millions of Americans heard his voice for the very first time.
Many observers posted messages to social media, saying they were surprised at how high and soft Kushner’s voice is, a stark contrast to his somewhat devious reputation. Many said that he sounds like Hollywood actor Michael Cera, who is known for having a boyish presence on screen.

Kind of disappointed. Jared Kushner’s making his first public remarks and he hasn’t been hiding a cool Darth Vader voice. At all.

As many in the media have pointed out, Kushner was made into a national mockery “almost instantly” after everyone saw and heard him on TV and in online videos.
President Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner gave a rare public speech Monday about how the Trump administration is working to modernize the federal government’s antiquated technology system.
Almost instantly, his voice became a topic of discussion — and mockery.
Try Googling his name and you’ll see that “jared kushner speaks” and “jared kushner voice” have the top queries within the past day.
On Twitter, it was as if some had expected Trump’s son-in-law and senior adviser to channel his inner James Earl Jones, but they heard Michael Cera instead.
This isn’t exactly the most pressing news of the day, but it is worth a laugh!
