Trump Team’s Paranoid Conspiracy Theories Revealed in Devastating Leak

The radical right-wing agenda of President Donald Trump’s inner circle was put on full display for everyone to see this week.

We have just received a leaked memo authored by a high-level Trump operative who was removed from his job this month. The document Trump staffers’ bizarre paranoia and their plan to strike back against Trump’s enemies.

This memo proves once and for all what many of us already knoew – Trump’s key staffers are consumed with wild conspiracy theories and it has made the administration totally unable to function.

That staffer who wrote it served several months on the administration’s National Security Council, brought on board by disgraced former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn. We now know that Higgins was booted out of his position in part because of a controversial memo he circulated inside the White House earlier this year.

In the memo, Trump adviser Rich Higgins describes an imaginary conspiracy where he says internal federal forces were trying to oust Trump from office. Higgins accused “globalists,” “Islamists,” and others of attempting to take control of the federal government.

“The Trump administration is suffering funder withering information campaigns designed to first undermine, then delegitimize and ultimately remove the President. … If action is not taken to re-scope and respond to these hostile campaigns very soon, the administration risks implosion and subsequent early departure from the White House,” Higgins wrote.

Higgins actually put together a list of the specific groups which he thinks are threatening Trump’s power:

  • Mainstream media
  • Marxists/Academia
  • The deep state
  • Corporatist bankers
  • Democratic leadership
  • Republican leadership
  • Islamists

Higgins memo, titled “POTUS & Political Warfare,” was unexpectedly published this week – just days after his firing – by Foreign Policy magazine.

Foreign Policy reports:

The seven-page document, which eventually landed on the president’s desk, precipitated a crisis that led to the departure of several high-level NSC officials tied to former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn. The author of the memo, Rich Higgins, who was in the strategic planning office at the NSC, was among those recently pushed out.

… The memo is part of a broader political struggle inside the White House between current National Security Advisor H.R. McMaster and alt-right operatives with a nationalist worldview who believe the Army general and his crew are subverting the president’s agenda.

Several insiders have said that Higgins memo was targeted at people like current National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster, who Trump’s far-right supporters think is part of the “deep state” conspiracy.
