A major new poll was just released this week showing President Donald Trump’s chances of re-election in 2020 are quickly deteriorating.
Pollsters contacted nearly 1,000 voters throughout the United States and found that Americans strongly prefer Democratic candidates in the 2020 election. The survey asked Americans to choose between Trump and several different potential candidates, and a full majority of voters say they wish former President Barack Obama was still in office.
Public Policy Polling, a nationally recognized polling firm, conducted the research and found that Trump would likely lose his re-election campaign if it were held today, no matter who the Democrat candidate is.
See for yourself – these are the potential Democrat candidates running against President Donald Trump in 2020, along with their predicted vote percentages in parentheses (via Public Policy Polling):
- Joe Biden (54/39)
- Bernie Sanders (52/39)
- Elizabeth Warren (49/42)
- Cory Booker (45/40)
- Kamala Harris (41/40)
It shouldn’t be much of a surprise that former Vice President Joe Biden is leading the pack.
Biden remains a close friend and ally to Obama, who Americans are missing like crazy right now. If Biden decided to throw his hat in the ring, he would surely be able to organize a huge amount of support among Democrats, and other Americans who are fed up with the Trump and the Republican Party in general.
